Working on sleeves

I worked on the sleeves (and a little on the bodice) for my pink 16th century gown yesterday.



I will cover this boned sleeve with a little padding before putting on the top layer in pink cotton/silk satin (yes, that satin Teddy).

Food bliss

We just had Chykens in hocchee; and since the kids haven't learned to fully appreciate frumenty the way a proper inhabitant of Nylöse ( our local group) does, we had potatoes, carrots and parsnips done in the oven with it.
And now I am so full I can hardly move.

St. Egon

I have now finally registered for St. Egon's feast, a local event the weekend after easter. All that remains is checking bus time tables and paying of course.
