A new dress

After the medieval week I wanted to sew something "normal" again. I also wanted to make something from the dark blue seersucker I bought at the fair in Nossebro in July - and last, but not least, to try this pattern which I bought from Patterns From the Past, because I wanted the bodice and collar pattern. Even if it's from the 1970s so much of the fashion in those days were inspired by then 1940s that I thought that it would be useful to make dresses inspired by the 1940s.

A dream coat

annalindqvist linked to this coat and isn't it just wonderful? I won't buy it though, I've got two coats and 125 pounds is a lot of money. But it is so beautiful and they even make them up to size 22.
