The thing of course is that the _whole_ fashion concept never comes back, it's always a little changed. The so-called 80s revival going on now is very different from the real 80s. We don't see many shoulder pads, oversized t-shirts with bold print and trousers that has the waist were the waist actually is now. And jeans are still boot cut or flared and back in the 80s that was the worst thing one could possibly imagine: flared 70s trousers. But still, I like the 80s revival, so much easier to find colourful clothes.
I don't think they look good either. But then I'm a skirt girl. I did have horribly tight trousers in the 80s, with zippers at he ankle so I could get them on.
