Thanks to liadethornegge who showed me the link to the site I present this lovely late 13th-early 14th century embroidered purse. It is a given Ragnhild project in my eyes.

I can tell that it's wool embroidery, but what's the specific technique? And the background fabric? (I don't speak... very many languages and can't even recognise which one that it-- it looks related to German, though?)
