A shower cap in gold and pearls

If everything worked out right (and why shouldn't it? says the optimist) you can now see pictures of yesterday's project; the golden, beaded shower cap-beret-german 16th century hairnet.
Today I haven't sewn anything worth mentioning, but if baby continues with his/her stubborn idea about staying inside me, I'm sure I will have to come up with something tomorrow.

Date: 2004-04-22 04:39 am (UTC)I was actually going to put fake hair in my fine gold haube:) It was really a test in whether the gold tissue could fake the cloth of gold in some of the paintings.
Bu I may go for a red felt lining....
I really like the red bonnet with it too:) It reminds me of a painting in one of my Great Artists magazines:)
I may scan it to show you:)
Of course if baby continues with the "will I won't I" it may be a while before you see it;)
