I just got an e-mail from acquaintance from way back. She has set up a company which reproduces printed textiles from the Middle Ages. Look! It's the first fabric which is an exact reproduction of the lining of a 15th century antependium. Another 15th century fabric, from inside a chasuble will soon be in production too. The fabrics are now only sold in a few museum shops, but she is looking for new sellers - it is not impossible that non swedes can work something out with them if they contact her.

Date: 2008-05-14 07:28 am (UTC)If you don't mind, can I send it onto an Australian Living History yahoo group? There are quite a few groups here who do 15th Cen who may be interested.
Either that or they can gnaw their livers in jealosy.
