A good day
Sep. 10th, 2009 08:25 pmToday I've been to my home village. My step-grandfather died three weeks ago and was buried today. It was a good service and lots of people and the weather was divine. After the reception we went to my stepfather's house and his girlfriend and I watched my sister's one year old daughter while she, her husband and my step-dad went to a nearby small town for a meeting with the bank, since my sister and her husband just bought a house. Anita and I spent two hours or so walking around in teh gardens, feeding Sara and ourselves with grapes, apple, tomatoes and plums and watching the dachshound eat apples and raspberries (which he picks himself from the bushes). I left with lovely red apples and 2 litres of chanterelles. Now I'm home and relaxing, after cleaning and frying the chanterelles.
