The beret of DOOM
Dec. 12th, 2004 11:25 pmOK girls and boys! I've wanted this type of tudor headwear for almost a decade now. I know there are at least two Holbein portraits with this bonnet-coif combination too, but I can't find any on the internet. When you look at the portraits the bonnets doesn't seem to have any seams and look very much like oversized berets. So I think; knitting a huge beret from white wool and then felt it. What do you all say about that theory? Marion? Anyone?
PS. I know it's sort of ugly but I want silly hats.
